A 17-year-old Clyde girl, Shaylynn Morey, died early Saturday in a crash about four miles west of Clyde.
A Kansas Highway Patrol report said Morey was driving west in a 2002 Ford Taurus on Union Road when the car crossed into the eastbound lane and struck a bridge railing head-on.
The report said the car then entered a creek on the east side of Union Road, where family members later found Morey dead at the scene.
Morey was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
