CLAY CENTER — A couple were unloading a stock tank from a truck Wednesday afternoon when it fell over and pinned the woman to the ground, injuring her, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The injured woman, Erica Craig, and her husband, Brent, were unloading the tank at their farm, about 11 miles south of Clay Center at 1350 Seventh, just after 4 p.m., Sheriff Chuck Dunn said.
Erica Craig had trouble breathing after she was freed and was flown to a regional hospital for treatment. The sheriff did not know the name of the hospital.
The Clay County Emergency Medical Service, the Wakefield Fire Department and a sheriff’s officer responded to the scene.
