Cadets coast, 56-0

St. John’s Military opened its 2010 season Friday night with a resounding 56-0 victory at home over Kickapoo Nation.

The game ended at halftime because of the 45-point rule.

Greg Seville, Zach Benishek and Jordan Sharpe each scored two rushing touchdowns as the Cadets generated 296 rushing yards on just 17  carries (17.4 average).

St. John’s, which led 34-0 after the first quarer, was also dominant on defense. Kickapoo’s 31 snaps resulted in a minus-1 total yard.

The Cadets look to go to 2-0 when they play at White City next Friday. The Huskies fell to 0-2 with a 28-8 loss at Solomon.
