St. John’s Military 16

At White City, St. John’s Military was unable to sustain its early momentum and was overwhelmed by White City in a pivotal second quarter.

The Muleskinners (1-1) led 8-6 after one quarter, but were outscored 22-0 over the next 12 minutes and trailed 28-8 at halftime.

White City’s Tanner Boeh had 106 yards passing and another 72 running the ball. He threw for two touchdowns and carried another in himself.

St. John’s Jake Ellis had 61 yards rushing, including a 48-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. The Muleskinners took their early lead on a 16-yard touchdown pass from Christopher Whitehead to Jake Erlewine.
