THEFT BY DECEPTION — Between 1:07 and 6:20 p.m. Friday a fraudulent check was presented at Flying J Travel Plaza, 2250 N. Ohio; $626 loss.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE — A broken window was reported at Hedges Sign, 616 Reynolds, occurring between 6 and 8:20 p.m. Friday, along with windows shattered on a silver Oldsmobile; $520 total damage.
