Police investigating burglary at Catholic Charities

A break-in at the Salina office of Catholic Charities, 425 W. Iron, resulted in the theft of equipment and damage to property totaling $880, a Salina Police Department report stated.

The burglary occurred between 7:15 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. Friday. Taken was an HP brand laptop computer and three $20 bills.

Damage was done to wooden interior doors, a lock was forced open on a metal filing cabinet and a metal screen was cut, according to the report.
