Police blotter
BURGLARY — A pair of men’s Nike basketball shoes, an iPod, four subwoofers and a Sony X-plode amplifier belonging to Jordan K. Wyatt were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 2000 block of Leland Way between 7 p.m. Thursday and 8:10 a.m. Friday; $810 loss.
nFishing equipment and fishing and camping clothing, including boots and coats, belonging to Ralph A. Hawkin, of Springdale, Ark., were stolen from his vehicle and its rear window was shattered while it was parked at Sleep Inn, 3932 S. Ninth, between 5 p.m. Saturday and 6:15 a.m. Sunday; $5,000 loss and damage.
nAn air compressor, chain saw, motorized bike and tools belonging to Sarah Wendt were stolen from a garage in the 100 block of South College Avenue between midnight Sept. 27 and 5 a.m. Sept. 28; $1,150 loss.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — A van belonging to Cherie L. Knopf was scratched on the hood and passenger side while it was parked in the 300 block of West Ellsworth Street between 10 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday; $750 damage.
ARREST — Jordan D. Cherry, 17, 532 Russell, was arrested at Central High School Friday morning, accused of five counts of property damage. Police allege that Cherry wrote gang graffiti on bathroom walls five times between Aug. 26 and Sept. 23 with pencil and black marker.
