Salinan accused of biting woman

A 59-year-old Salina man was arrested Tuesday, accused of entering a woman’s house and biting her on the thigh.

Cesareo Chavira-Hernandez, 1229 N. 10th, was intoxicated when he was arrested at the 36-year-old woman’s north Salina house Tuesday evening, said Capt. Mike Sweeney, of the Salina Police Department. The two were acquaintances.

Sweeney said Chavira-Hernandez walked into the woman’s house, sat down next to her on the couch and started rubbing her feet and legs before biting the inside of her right thigh.

Chavira-Hernandez was arrested on charges of sexual battery and criminal trespass.
