Salina Journal
CLASS registration begins Tuesday
Registration for the fall semester of CLASS will open Tuesday in conjunction with the release of the new catalog in the Salina Journal. People may register at various locations in the community and online at salinaclass.com.
CLASS, Community Learning and Skill Sharing, is a program dedicated to lifelong learning and community building. Through classes each spring and fall, taught by local experts, CLASS provides opportunities to learn cooking, languages, dancing, fitness, arts, business, technology, travel and more.
Many new classes are on the schedule for the fall, including several new cooking classes, rhinos at Rolling Hills, meditation, tango, mandolin, landscaping, painting and photography. Favorites such as Zumba Gold, yoga, ballroom dancing, languages, technology and book discussions will return.
Registration will be done primarily online at salpublib.org using the library’s calendar. With the library’s new software, patrons can register, pay and confirm their classes online. All of the classes, their locations and instructors can be viewed on the online calendar. Patrons may also register at the library’s Technology Center help desk during library hours.
Classes will begin Sept. 13.
