ABILENE — The mission for public schools in the 21st century will be the topic of a forum at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum Visitors Center Auditorium.
The forum titled, “What Is the 21st Century Mission for Our Public Schools?” will present three possible options for participants to consider: preparing students to be successful in the workplace; preparing students to be active and responsible citizens; and helping students discover and develop their talents.
Participants will work in small groups. Each group will be led by a trained facilitator. The small groups will gather for a group discussion.
Reservations are requested on Facebook or by calling (785) 263-6700.
