The Bennington PRCA Rodeo was voted the PRCA Prairie Circuit Rodeo of the Year by the contestants at the annual Prairie Circuit Finals Rodeo held in conjunction with the American Royal in Kansas City. The Prairie Circuit consists of PRCA rodeos in Kansas, Oklahoma and Nebraska. The Bennington PRCA Rodeo received the mid-size rodeo award based on committee prize money. This is the fourth time Bennington has received the award. The Bennington PRCA Rodeo is held annually on the first weekend of June and is sponsored by The Bennington Lions Club.
