KANOPOLIS -- Michael E. Tripp Kyler, 21, died Monday, May 12, at University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, KS, while waiting for a liver transplant. Born Sept. 5, 1986, he was a 2005 graduate of Smoky Valley High School, Lindsborg. He worked as a burner at Acme Brick Plant, Kanopolis. Survivors include his mother, Della Tripp, Kanopolis; father, Patrick Kyler and wife Linda, Kanopolis; brother, Steven Tripp and wife Misty, Salina; sisters, Rylee Kyler, Kanopolis and Ryan Ulmen, Manhattan; paternal grandparents, Ron and Annetta Kyler, Kanopolis; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Tripp, Kanopolis; maternal grandfather, Bobby Tripp, Doyline, LA; and nephews, Dominic and Dasan Tripp, Salina, and Brendan Tripp, Ellsworth.
Mass 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Kanopolis. Visitation: 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth, with a vigil at 7 p.m. Memorials: Michael E. Tripp Kyler Memorial Fund, in care of Parsons Funeral Home, P.O. Box 45, Ellsworth, KS 67439.
