Larry H. Garrelts RENO, Nev. -- Larry H. Garrelts, 69, Reno, died Saturday, May 10, 2008. He was born in McPherson, Kansas, on April 7, 1939. He spent 22 years in the U.S. Navy's submarine service, retiring in 1979. Survivors include his wife, Carol; two sons, Cris of Clearfield, Utah, and Timothy of Idaho Falls, Idaho; a sister, Kathy Lazio of Platt, Mo.; three grandchildren, Amber, Nathan and Mindy; and two great- grandchildren, Cydney and Parker. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 16, in Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Nev. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Veterans Guest House, 880 Locust, Reno, NV 89502. [Comment] |
