Harley M. Parson Harley M. Parson, 85, Salina, died Saturday, July 19, 2008, at Kaye Pogue Hospice Center, Salina. Mr. Parson was born Nov. 11, 1922, in Locus Grove, OK. He was an auto body mechanic for Long McArthur Ford in Salina for many years. After retirement, he worked part time for Duane Sharp Auto Sales. Mr. Parson is survived by his wife, Marie, of the home; one son, Kenneth Bruce Parson and wife Vicki of Salina; one daughter, Kathryn Sue Dickerman and husband James of Salina; three grandchildren, Kenneth Dickerman and wife Christy, Richard Parson and wife Amber, and Melissa Parson; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina, KS 67401. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the mortuary, with Pastor Robert Manning officiating.
