Margaret A. "Marge" Bowman

Margaret A. "Marge" Bowman, 89, Salina, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008. Mrs. Bowman was born Nov. 28, 1918, in Ellis, the daughter of Nicholas Phillip and Mary (Braun) Riedel.

She was a homemaker and a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee H. Bowman, in 1978; and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sister, Georgine Loop of Salina; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service with rosary will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, KS 67401, with Father Allen Scheer officiating. Private inurnment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart Cathedral, in care of the mortuary.
