Cecil I. Roberts
QUINTER -- Cecil I. Roberts, 84, died Monday, July 21, 2008. He was born Dec. 29, 1923, in rural Gove County. He was a farmer/rancher.

Survivors include his wife, Janice, of the home; a son, Terry of Colby; a daughter, Julinne Samuelson of Quinter; two brothers, Ted of Salina and Wendell of Quinter; two sisters, Anna Lean Dohm and Wilma Gillespie, both of Quinter; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Quinter. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Baker Township Cemetery, Quinter, with military rites by American Legion Post 164.
