Man run over by his own car

GOODLAND -- A Missouri man was hospitalized after being run over by his own car on Interstate Highway 70 on Wednesday afternoon in Sherman County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Phillip Milroy Pierson, 81, Lee's Summit, got out of his car at the eastbound rest area and tried to get back in when the car started to roll. He was then run over.
He was taken by ambulance to Goodland Regional Medical Center; his condition was not available Wednesday evening.
