With New Year's just around the corner, someone evidently was stocking up on beer early Friday morning.
Around 2 a.m. someone shoplifted a 30-pack of beer from the Kwik Shop at 657 Fairdale. Value: $17.
About an hour later someone shattered the front door at Kenison Liquor, 2006 S. Ohio, and stole two 30-packs of Budweiser. The beer was valued at $40; damage to the door was put at $200.
