A Salina man was arrested Monday, accused of punching and kicking a man and stealing his wallet containing $1,400 in cash.
Matthew L. Finch, 24, 1913 Dover, was arrested at 1:05 p.m. for aggravated robbery and an outside warrant from the U.S. Marshall’s Office, according to Salina police reports.
Finch is accused of being one of two men riding in the backseat of a car in which Allen Burr was riding home from a bar on a night in June. Burr reported to police that at 2:43 a.m. June 22, when the car stopped at the intersection of Sheridan and Vanango, the two men threw him out of the vehicle, beat him and took his wallet.
