Restaurant owners fined

7/2/2008

Owners of two restaurants in north-central and northwest Kansas were fined by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment for failure to obtain food service licenses.

Civil penalties of $500 were levied against Tonya B. Gustus, owner of Bar’ees Bar O Grill in Dorrance, and Sterling and Samantha Miller, owners of Buffalo Bill’s Grill in Oakley.

The restaurant owners have a right to appeal the civil penalties.
