Harvey Knoll died May 15, 2006, in Osborne County. The petition alleges that negligent actions by hospital employees were "the direct and proximate cause of injuries that resulted in" his death.

THEFT -- Fifty DVDs in a case, 30 CDs in a case, cash, wrestling medals and a Green Lantern coupon book belonging to John Perret were taken between 7 p.m. Tuesday and noon Wednesday from a vehicle parked at 212 W. Ellsworth; $843 loss.

BURGLARY -- Hand tools, a drill, an impact wrench and nine quarts of oil belonging to Kenneth Cross and Larry Gawith were taken between 1 a.m. Sunday and 9 p.m. Wednesday from a car trailer in a storage lot at 461 E. Ave. A; $100 damage, $900 loss.
