n The estate of Harvey J. Knoll, Andrew G. Knoll, administrator, seeks more than $75,000 from Salina Regional Health Center for alleged negligent acts that led Harvey Knoll to develop renal failure in March 2006, while he was patient at the hospital. Harvey Knoll died May 15, 2006, in Osborne County. The petition alleges that negligent actions by hospital employees were "the direct and proximate cause of injuries that resulted in" his death.

n CitiMortgage seeks a mortgage foreclosure against Nathan C. Speed on property at 244 Des Moines for a sum in excess of $67,100.

n LaSalle Bank National Association seeks a mortgage foreclosure against Randy Lee Knight for property at 2228 Wesley for a sum in excess of $91,700.

DUI CONVICTIONS -- Rebecca Whitmer, Wilson, six months in jail, probation granted for one year after serving 48 hours, Salina Weekend Intervention Program, 10 hours of community service, $500 fine, $241 fees and costs.

n Unique Jenkins, 232 S. Phillips, one year in jail, probation granted for two years after serving five days, 10 hours of community service, $1,000 fine, $241 fees and costs. Police blotter

THEFT -- Fifty DVDs in a case, 30 CDs in a case, cash, wrestling medals and a Green Lantern coupon book belonging to John Perret were taken between 7 p.m. Tuesday and noon Wednesday from a vehicle parked at 212 W. Ellsworth; $843 loss.

BURGLARY -- Hand tools, a drill, an impact wrench and nine quarts of oil belonging to Kenneth Cross and Larry Gawith were taken between 1 a.m. Sunday and 9 p.m. Wednesday from a car trailer in a storage lot at 461 E. Ave. A; $100 damage, $900 loss.

Animal shelter

These animals were picked up May 21 at the locations listed and taken to the Salina Animal Shelter, 329 N. Second. Phone 826-6535.

DOGS -- Black and white male heeler/Labrador puppy, 700 block of North Broadway.

OTHER -- Brown and white male goat, 1900 block of Old Highway 40.
