The jury trial for a Salina man accused of intentional second-degree murder has been delayed to allow his attorney more time to prepare.
Cameron A. Nelson, 20, was scheduled to go to trial Sept. 2, accused of killing Mark Simpson, 38, on April 16. Simpson was shot in the street in the 500 block of South 10th Street.
Saline County District Judge Daniel Hebert approved a motion Monday to move his trial date to Dec. 2 at the request of his attorney, Julie McKenna.
