CHAPMAN — Organizers raised about $5,700 for the city of Chapman’s Helping Hand Disaster Relief Fund this past weekend through a poker run.
Cindy Manning, Abilene, one of the organizers, said 170 motorcyclists participated in the run. Numerous volunteers from the cities of Chapman and Abilene assisted, including members of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
“It was super,” Manning said. “There were no accidents, no nothing.”
