Print this story DUANE SCHRAG The skies southwest of Salina will be filled with jet fighters next year when the community for the first time hosts Hawgsmoke 2008, a competition for A10 Thunderbolts. “It’s another worldwide, world-class aviation event coming to Salina,” said Tim Rogers, executive director of the Salina Airport Authority. “We’ll have Air Force and Air Force Reserve units from all over the country.”
