2 arrested on drug charges

Two Nebraska men were arrested Saturday after marijuana was found in their pickup when they were stopped for speeding.

Dustin R. Powers, 27, and Darren L. Vogel, 28, both of Hebron, Neb., were stopped for driving 51 miles per hour in a 40 mph zone on North 11th Street near Broadway Boulevard at 2:35 a.m. Saturday.

During the stop, a 58-gram bag of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle, said Deputy Police Chief Carson Mansfield. The pickup was impounded.
