Two injured in crash in Cloud County

CLOUD COUNTY -- Two people from Clyde were injured Friday afternoon in a crash on a Cloud County Road.

According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, a pickup truck driven by Dawain Koerber, 49, Clyde, was backing a trailer into a field on the west side of 260th Road. A southbound vehicle driven by Dewayne Schebaum, 45, Clyde, entered the east ditch as it attempted to avoid the pickup.

The wreck occurred just before 5 p.m. about eight miles south of the intersection of Kansas Highway 9 and 260th Road.

Schebaum and a passenger in his pickup, Teresa Schebaum, 55, Clyde, were both taken to Clay County Medical Center. Information on their conditions was not available Saturday.
