Cardiothoracic surgeon hired

Salina Regional Health Center has hired Dr. John J. Kelemen III as Salina’s newest cardiothoracic surgeon.
Kelemen most recently practiced in Wichita, at Cedar Surgical Associates, and also provided cardiothoracic surgery coverage for Salina Regional. He specializes in all types of cardiac and vascular surgery.
Prior to coming to Kansas, Kelemen was in the U.S. Army Medical Corps.
Kelemen is double board certified by the American Board of Surgery and Thoracic Surgery.
He replaces Dr. Mace Braxton, who died in February.
