Big Brothers, Big Sisters honored

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Salina recently was honored by Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Nationwide Leadership Council with the Pinnacle Award for Achievement.<p>
The local agency was one of eight selected from a nationwide network of more than 400 to receive the Gold Standard Award two years in a row, making them winners of the Pinnacle Award.<p>
The Gold Standard award recognizes Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies that have shown growth of 10 percent or more in revenue and in the number of children served.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Salina was the only agency in Kansas to achieve the performance results and receive the Gold Standard Award.<p>

i think al the bbbs agency's should be honored, not just one. the amount of children shouldnt matter, but the quality of the services they get should matter, i haqve had 2 children in bbbs for 6 years now and could not be happier with the results, my children have grown in so many positive ways from their bigs, Thank you bbbs for all you do for the kids of kansas i appreciate you very much.
