Woman treated after crash

BROOKVILLE -- A woman was treated and released from Salina Regional Health Center following a crash shortly after 1:30 p.m. Monday east of Brookville.

The victim, Tiffany Ruff, 18, 737 Fairdale, was driving her Olds Cutlass westbound and hit a patch of ice. The car slid into the north ditch and rolled one time, Saline County Sheriff's Deputy Steven Brelsford said. The wreck happened on Kansas Highway 140, about three miles east of Brookville. Ruff was wearing a seat belt.
