Bank of Tescott, Kohl's get building permits

MICHAEL STRAND
The Bank of Tescott plans to start construction on a two-story addition to its office on South Ohio this coming week and plans to move in by spring.

A building permit for the 11,700-square-foot addition was issued this past week, clearing the way for construction to begin, said Mike Sample, the bank’s chief financial officer.

According to the building permit, the addition will cost some $1.7 million.

The planned new Kohl’s department store in south Salina also recently was issued its building permit.

According to the building permit, the store will encompass just over 63,606 square feet and cost $5.4 million.

Reporter Mike Strand can be reached at 822-1418 or by e-mail at mstrand@salina.com.
