Tescott family escapes burning house

TESCOTT — Teana Milleson said her husband, Chris, awoke at 11 p.m. Saturday as their house was filling with smoke.

He roused her and their three children, one who is just 8 weeks old.

“We grabbed the kids and got out,” Teana Milleson said.

She said the fire was in the back of their rented house in Tescott.

“I think what happened was a transformer sparked and hit the grass. It was so windy that it shot across the yard,” Teana Milleson said.
