A collision Wednesday between two vehicles in Morris County resulted in the death of one Lincolnville teen, and left another hospitalized in Wichita.
According to the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck happened shortly before 4 p.m. at the intersection of 2800 Road and CC Avenue. A car driven by Lance Selznick, 19, Lincolnville, was struck on the driver’s side by a pickup truck driven by Andrew Carlson, 17, rural Burdick.
Selznick died from injuries sustained in the wreck, while Carlson was treated and released at Marion County Hospital.
A passenger in Selznick’s car, Stephen Kaiser, 16, Lincolnville, was airlifted to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. A second passenger, Brandon Albright, 16, was also treated and released.
As of Friday, Kaiser was listed in serious condition at Wesley. The cause of the collision was being investigated Friday afternoon.
