Stabbing arrest made after Sunday incident

Salina police are investigating a stabbing that happened in the 800 block of Sherman between 2:15 and 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Deputy Police Chief Carson Mansfield said Sunday that at least two people with injuries were transported to Salina Regional Health Center. The front page of the police report listed as victims Anthony Michael Napoleone, 26, 411 S. West Place; Thomas Richard Nece, 26, 109 S. West Place; and Justin Christopher Lakkari, 32, Aurora, Colo.

Mansfield said details of the incident remained sketchy Sunday. One person was arrested, Steven Weis, 24, Brookville. Weis could face a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon in Saline County District Court.
