CRIMINAL DAMAGE -- A back window was broken in a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer belonging to Jose F. Deluna while it was parked at 903 Otto between 9 p.m. Saturday and 1:57 a.m. Sunday; $700 loss.

INJURY CRASHES -- Arlene P. McKinney, 31, 508 S. Eighth No. 3, was treated at Salina Regional Health Center after the car she was driving struck mailboxes and a parked pickup in the parking area at 2363 Chapel Ridge at 9:35 p.m. Saturday.

n William B. Cochran, 39, Paris, Texas, was treated at Salina Regional Health Center after the motorcycle he was driving and a car driven by Nicholas W. Peterson, 19, Lincoln, collided at the intersection of West Crawford and Willow streets at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

THEFT -- A red 1999 Dodge owned by Lorena Anchondo was taken between 10 p.m. Friday and 3 a.m. Saturday while it was parked at 929 Merrill. The Dodge has the word "Sport" on the passenger side with a stripe; $6,500 loss.

n Ambient air temperature in reach-in cooler not cold enough.

n Fountain pop and ice machine drain lines directly connected to sewer.

n Feces smeared on wall, floor and on toilet in men's rest room.

n Fouton, dirty shorts, bedroom slippers, shaving cream and razors stored in back room. Shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste were in a container above three-vat sink.

n Lasagna, mashed potatoes, gravy, taco meat, smoked ham and raw shell eggs in walk-in cooler not cold enough.

n Lasagna in walk-in cooler outdated.

n Bartender smoked, then made drink for customer without washing hands first.

n Bartender scooped ice with glass and had bare hand in contact with ice.

n Open can of pineapple juice in walk-in cooler had mold growing on top. Open bottle of malt scotch had three bearings and a plastic stopper in it. A bottle of Bacardi Rum had fruit fly in it, and Appleton Estate Jamaican Rum bottle contained 12 to 15 fruit flies.

n 18 boxes of expired baby cereal in walk-in cooler.

n Dried food debris found on "clean" knives. Grease and food debris found on spatulas, ladles and clean pans.

n Manual ware washing not sanitizing properly.

n Unapproved insecticide in kitchen cabinet.

n Ice bin directly connected to floor drain.

n Ambient air in walk-in cooler not cold enough.

n 11 risk factor violations cited.

n Cream cheese and milk in reach-in cooler not cold enough.

n Employee scratched back, then got drink for customer without washing hands first.

n Two bottles of floor shine wax stored above three-vat sink, and Lysol spray stored on top of refrigerator with creamer, sugar and coffee filters.

n Cook scratched his face, then continued handling single-service cups of Alfredo sauce without washing hands first.

n Hiram Walker Peppermint Schnapps bottle had a piece of plastic in it.

n Raw chicken in walk-in cooler and crab rangoon in reach-in cooler not cold enough. Tempura batter on counter not cold enough.

n Cooked noodles in walk-in cooler not date-marked.

n Cook took drink from open drinking glass, then handled cooked rice without washing hands first.

n Cook had bare hand contact with cut carrots and onions.

n Open three-quarters full drinking glass sitting on prep counter by cutting board.

n Raw chicken and beef stored over raw shrimp.

n Two live adult female German cockroaches and 15 to 20 fresh rodent droppings in cabinet by fountain pop.

n Four "clean" knives had dried food debris on blades.

n Dirty knife wiped off, then put away as clean.

n Manual and mechanical ware washing not sanitizing properly.

n Cook handled dirty dishes, then stirred boiling noodles without washing hands first.

Animal shelter

These animals were picked up Aug. 2 at the locations listed and taken to the Salina Animal Shelter, 329 N. Second. Phone 826-6535.

DOGS -- Gray and white neutered male Italian greyhound with black collar, 100 block of Seitz; fawn and black male pug with black collar, 700 block of South 11th.

BIRDS -- Two white, blue, black and yellow parakeets, I-70 and Ohio Street.
