Salina police are attempting to locate a young Salina girl who is believed to have been taken away by her parents and might be in need of medical care.
Salina Deputy Police Chief Carson Mansfield said warrants were issued Wednesday for the arrest of Ramon and Adriana Perez, parents of the missing 2-year-old girl, Eunice Perez. Eunice was last seen with her parents on Sept. 4, a day after she was placed in Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services custody, according to a Salina police news release.
Eunice remained in the care of her parents, although the state had custody of her, Mansfield said. Ramon and Adriana were charged Wednesday, each with one count of interference with parental custody for taking the child.
Eunice has a feeding tube in her stomach and may be in need of medical care, according to the police statement.
