Our pool should offer more

Please take into serious consideration a year-round aquatics facility with minimum evaporation, wheel-chair accessible entry into the pool, graded entry for little ones, a warm-water section for those with arthritis or other joint illness and obese water walkers, warm water tubs, steam rooms, dry heat tables; and rent time and table space to massage specialists.

It would be so ludicrous for the city to build a multimillion dollar facility for only a few weeks a year and perhaps not even have the necessary water available to run the thing and have to further restrict water use and raise water rates.

Please think outside the usual water park box. Maybe a pool with a retractable sunlight dome; solar heating? We need to be good partners with the surrounding cities and not try to take their patrons away from them but complement what is currently available.
