Abilene group taking reservations for Midsummer event

ABILENE -- The Abilene Downtown Association is taking reservations for food booths for the Midsummer Night's Dream Family Festival, July 24 in downtown Abilene.

Preference will be given to local nonprofit organizations and downtown businesses. Food booths will be grouped near the Little Ike Park. Some tents are available and will be assigned on a first-come basis. Power hook-ups will be provided.

The Abilene Downtown Association also is seeking clowns, mimes, jugglers, magicians and street musicians for the festival. If you would like to participate, call Jill, (785) 263-0240 during business hours Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
