A 27-year-old Longford man was arrested Tuesday in connection with the alleged assault of a woman at her home.

The 28-year-old woman reported the incident at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. When Salina Police arrived at the central Salina residence they found the man was still there, said police Capt. Mike Sweeney. Sweeney said the man was an acquaintance of the woman.

Arrested on possible charges of attempted rape and criminal trespassing was Justin Ray Huiett.
