Volunteers needed for Girl Scouts
Representatives of Girl Scouts of the Heartland will answer questions and serve light refreshments during Adult Recruitment Day, 6 to 8 p.m. today by the fountain at Salina's Central Mall.
Representatives will discuss the array of volunteer opportunities available in Girl Scouts.

Free massages offered for donations
Local massage therapists plan to participate in the national "EveryBody Deserves a Massage Week" by providing free chair massages from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Martinelli's Little Italy, 158 S. Santa Fe.
Volunteer massage therapists from Feet Retreat, Blue Heron Massage, Massage at Abracadabra and In Touch Therapy will provide the massages in exchange for donations to the Pregnancy Service Center.

Project Vote Smart to stop in Concordia
CONCORDIA -- The Project Vote Smart national bus tour will stop in the 700 block of Washington Street, across from the Concordia Post Office, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
Visitors to the bus will be able to watch a short video, then use a laptop computer to learn about the different methods available to find information about political candidates and elected officials.
