Print this story Today is the deadline for dropping off prom dresses as part of Prom-A-Rama, which is a way to donate prom dresses to girls who might not otherwise be able to obtain one. Dresses can be dropped off at the YMCA, 570 YMCA Drive; Girl Scouts, 1550 S. Broadway; any Sunflower Bank location; or South, Central, Ell-Saline or Southeast of Saline high schools. The give-away will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 111 W. Magnolia. To receive a dress, the girl needs to attend the give-away and provide proof of being a high school student. There will be volunteers to help participants find a dress to their liking, and seamstresses will be available to make alterations or repairs.
