One dead, two injured in head-on crash

QUINTER -- A Morland woman was killed late Thursday morning and two others were injured after the van she was driving crossed the center line and hit a pickup truck head on.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, at about 11 a.m., Agnes Bollig, 65, was driving west on Road C in Graham County, about eight miles north and three miles east of Quinter, when her mini-van crossed the center line at the top of a hill and hit a pickup driven by Troy Walt, 30, Morland.

Walt and a passenger, Kevin Broeckleman, 37, Collyer, were taken to Gove County Medical Center. Walt was flown to Via Christi Medical Center in Wichita, where he was listed in critical condition. Broeckleman's condition was not available.

Bollig was wearing a seat belt; Walt and Broeckleman were not.
