HOXIE — A tractor-trailer that rolled onto its side Wednesday morning left its driver and a passenger with injuries.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, James Kennedy, 42, of Saint Stephen, S.C., was driving his tractor-trailer north on Kansas Highway 23 about two miles north of Hoxie about 11:30 a.m. when the wheels dropped onto the shoulder and the truck rolled onto its side.
Kennedy was taken to the Sheridan County Health Complex in Hoxie with possible injuries.
A passenger, Debbie Franklin, 45, also of Saint Stephen, was in the sleeper compartment. She also was taken to the hospital.
Condition reports were not available.
