LINDSBORG -- Larry Van Der Wege has been named chief executive officer of Lindsborg Community Hospital and Lindsborg Rural Health Clinic, effective immediately.

He had been serving as interim CEO since the retirement of Greg Lundstrom on Jan. 1.

He joined the hospital staff in May 1998 as director of physical therapy and in 2005 was named chief operating officer. He is a 1990 graduate of Smoky Valley High School and earned his biology degree from Bethany College in 1994. In 1996, he earned his master's degree in physical therapy from Wichita State University.
