Print this story A Salina man is accused of choking his girlfriend early Sunday, causing injuries to her neck and eyes. Tina M. Wallace, 29, 1319 Talley, told Salina police the incident occurred about 4 a.m. Sunday at her home. Police were called when Wallace sought treatment for her injuries about 8 p.m. Tuesday at Salina Regional Health Center. Deputy Chief Carson Mansfield said Wallace had bruises on her neck and broken blood vessels in her eyes. Avis O. Black, 25, Salina, was arrested Tuesday evening.
