Mr. Eddie R. DeHerrera II, 78, of Salina, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010, at the Hospice of Salina. Mr. DeHerrera was born March 4, 1932, in Saguache, Colo., to the late Eddie R. DeHerrera Sr. and Juanita Martinez.Eddie attended the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, of Salina, for many years. He was retired from the United States Marshal Service and the private business sector.
He was married to Mayo (Mondragon) DeHerrera, and she survives of the home. Other survivors include three daughters, Darlene Pena, of Vail, Colo., Lillian DeHerrera, of Salina, and Vivian Jones, of Saguache; four sons, Eddie R. DeHerrera III and Roger DeHerrera, both of Topeka, Dan DeHerrera, of Salina, and Vernon DeHerrera, of Culver, Ind. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, James DeHerrera.
