Ira W. Hein

HILLSBORO -- Ira W. Hein, 86, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009. He was born Dec. 8, 1922, in rural Hillsboro to Henry W. and Tina (Duerksen) Hein. He was a farmer and rancher. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda, in 2005; and brother, Irvin.

Survivors include his son, Rodney (Susan), of rural Hillsboro; brother, Emice, of rural Hillsboro; sister, Viola Reeves, of Wichita; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive guests from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 6, at the church. Memorials may be made to the church, in care of Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro, jost@jostfuneralhome.com.
