Eugene William "Gene" Hackerott

WESKAN -- Eugene William "Gene" Hackerott, 56, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009. He was born Jan. 15, 1953, in Hays, the son of William C. and Elsie M. (Bowen) Hackerott. He graduated from Stockton High School.

Surviving family includes his wife, Terresa Hackerott, of Weskan; daughters, Bonnie Jean Wood, of Menlo, and Jaclyn Hackerott, of San Antonio; and son, Jeremiah Hackerott, of Manhattan.

The funeral will be at 9 a.m. MT today, July 3, at the Weskan School Gym. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Wesleyan Church and mailed to Koons Funeral Home, 211 N. Main, Goodland 67735.
