CONCORDIA -- Fredrick Leon Chakir, 57, of Concordia, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2009, at his home. He was born May 27, 1952, in Kansas City, Kan., to Norman and Caroline (Kohlmeier) Chakir. He had lived in Concordia for 12 years, working for a construction company. Survivors: son, Michael McDonald (Kimberly), of New Richmond, Wis.,; former spouse, Sharon; and two grandchildren. Preceded in death: mother; and infant daughter, Trisca.
