Gerold Dean Carlton

JEWELL -- Gerold Dean "Jerry" Carlton, 81, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009. He was born Dec. 14, 1927, in Jewell to Royal and Ruby Pearl Carlton. Preceded in death: daughter, Lavona; son, Roy Jon; and five siblings. Survivors: wife, Arleta; daughters, Lesa Wright (Dale), Leila Becker (Dennis), Loeta Conley (Hank) and Lucille Black (Steven); nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, twin, Gene, Kenneth, Marion and Jim; and sister, Dora Maze. Visitation: 1 to 6 p.m. today at Kleppinger Funeral Home, Jewell. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Jewell Christian Church.
