Lynch Branstetter, 71, of Salina, died June 30, 2009. He was born Dec. 13, 1937, in Salina. He was a roofer. He then worked for Bosselmans for 17 years, retiring in 2006. He served in the Army from 1956 to 1961. He enjoyed woodworking and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore, and mother, Willie Opal Branstetter; a sister, Dorthy Ambuehl; and two brothers, Jackie Branstetter and Larry Branstetter.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia, of the home; eight children, Steven Warner, of Elk Grove, Calif., Pamela Toney, of Chandler, Ariz., Douglas Warner, of Salina, Jacqueline Whitcomb, of Elkins, Ariz., William Warner, Cindy Smith, Joe Warner and Edward Branstetter, all of Salina; five sisters, Gladys Hart, Norma Nickel and Connie Shull, all of Salina, Sonja O'Brien, of San Antonio, Texas, and Sharon Stokes, of Moweaqua, Ill.; two brothers, Theodore R. Branstetter Jr. and Robert Branstetter, both of Salina; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, July 2, 2009, at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral will be Friday, July 3, at 10 a.m. at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, Salina. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
